Police paged the team to report a broken ankle on the path to the west of Penny Hill farm. The casualty was a local lady in her mid 50s. She was located on the footpath between Penny Hill farm and Wha House Bridge near the head of Eskdale. 14 team members attended and the lady was stretchered back to the road head at Wha House bridge where an ambulance took her to Whitehaven hospital.
