Call from Workington Police to contact them to assist with overdue runners on Scafell Pike. The Team Leader spoke to the informant who was extremely concerned that three runners doing the Bob graham round had failed to turn up at their food / water stop and were long overdue. After a short period a full team callout was initiated. As expected, no sooner had the call gone out and the team mobilised, the missing persons turned up safe and well. Callout was cancelled and the team stood down.
