The team was alerted to 3 walkers who had got lost whilst descending Scafell Pike. Contact was made and using PhoneFind the duty team leader was able to determine their location on the corridor route. After further conversations, directions were given and the party made their way towards Lingmell Col. Given the limited equipment a limited call out was made and a small party set off to assist the walkers off the hill. The group then met up with a party of walkers on the 3 peaks who provided significant assistance to help escort them off the fell and having made good progress off the hill were met by the team on Lingmell nose traverse and escorted them back to their car.
Incident started at 17:05 and ended at 21:28 making 4.4 hrs in total. There were 8 Wasdale team members involved. Total rescuer hours: 35
