We were called by Police about 2 walkers who become lost / stuck near the top of Greathall Gill whilst trying to descend Winn Rigg. After talking to the pair the Team Leader determined they were near the head of the gill on the col. A small group then went on the fell to help walk them back.
Incident started at 17:21 and ended at 20:00 making 2.7 hrs in total. There were 8 Wasdale team members involved and the incident occured at NY145 028 (altitude 375 m). Total rescuer hours: 22
