We were contacted by Police regarding a family reporting themselves lost and finding it difficult to continue due to very muddy ground somewhere near the River Irt between Nether Wasdale and Santon Bridge. They were encouraged to keep walking and were then picked up in a team vehicle and given a lift back to their car. Incident closed 18:30, 8 WMRT involved.
Incident started at 17:38 and ended at 18:30 making 0.9 hrs in total. There were 8 Wasdale team members involved. Total rescuer hours: 7
