We were called by NWAS about a walker who had sustained an injury to their lower leg near the top of Scafell Pike and it was reported they could no longer walk. Whilst we were gathering to respond to the incident we were informed that the walker was now making their own way off the hill and we stood down.
Incident started at 16:02 and ended at 19:20 making 3.3 hrs in total. There were 12 Wasdale team members involved and the incident occured at NY 215 072 (altitude 963 m). Total rescuer hours: 40
