The team leader was contacted by the police after a group consisting of 125 teenagers and 5 group leaders had failed to turn up at Wasdale Head having set off from Langdale earlier in the morning. There were several mobile numbers provided for the informant and hill group leaders. Â All went to voice mail suggesting they were all lower down in the valley. Eventually the team leader made contact with the informant, as he was gathering information the group turned up.
Incident started at 23:58 and ended at 01:07 making 1.2 hrs in total. There was 1 Wasdale team member involved. Total rescuer hours: 1.2
