We were called by Police about a group of walkers reported overdue from a walk up Scafell and Slightside from Wasdale. A team member went down Wasdale to look for the party’s car and bumped into them making their way down the valley trying to find a mobile signal to update the informant at which point we stood down we stood down .
Incident started at 20:43 and ended at 22:03 making 1.3 hrs in total. There were 2 Wasdale team members involved and the incident occured at NY206058 (altitude 737 m). Total rescuer hours: 2.6
