Call from Workington Police requesting assistance from Ambulance Control. 75 year old male (from Barrow-in-Furness) had fallen approximately 10 metres down vertical rocks into the river Esk, near St Catherine’s church (Eskdale). Napes, Great Gable – Sun 2nd May 2004 – Callout 12 in 2004

A call came from Workington Police regarding a 11 year old who had sustained a head and leg injury at Napes Needle, Great Gable.
