Saturday 24th September saw a gloriously bright and breezy day at the Eskdale show. The cream of local Herwick flocks were there for this historic national competition and an Eskdale farmer won best in show which was wonderful. WMRT occupied a prime position and saw lots of visitors and shoppers at the stall, many of whom spent their money on merchandise, and also contributed generously. There was plenty of interest in Mobile 2, especially from children who might well be team members of the future, and lots of opportunity to share WMRT experiences with interested members of the public. There was a lovely atmosphere to the show and some really good connections were made with the Eskdale community.
We are now very much looking forward to attending the Wasdale Head Show and Shepherd’s Meet this coming Saturday, hope to see you there!
