We were pleased to welcome Mark Wear, National Lottery Funding Officer for the North East and Cumbria, to our base on Friday for the presentation of a cheque for £19,900. This follows a successful grant application for new equipment that will enhance the Team’s capability to respond to callouts in swift water environments.
Our project was made possible thanks to The National Lottery players, whose support helps us continue improving the resources we rely on during rescues.
