A call was received regarding a walker suffering from severe cramp during descent from Scafell Pike. Fifteen members of the Mountain Rescue Team were deployed and made contact with the individual as he was walking off the hill independently, after resting and recovering somewhat. After confirming that he was able to continue unaided, no further assistance was necessary.
The team monitored the situation and stood down once it was established that no medical intervention or evacuation was required.
Incident started at 16:03 and ended at 19:09 making 3.1 hrs in total. There were 15 Wasdale team members involved and the incident occured at NY 20467 07343. Total rescuer hours: 47
