Incidents — Muncaster Castle

Muncaster Castle – Mon 3rd Jun 2013 – Callout 27 in 2013

The third incident of the day was to a casualty at Muncaster Castle with a suspected hip fracture. She was treated at the scene by the air ambulance Doctor and then carried on stretcher to an awaiting land ambulance.

The team was involved on a major search for missing male in his 80’s with a medical issue. He had been missing since 1530 at Muncaster Castle. Muncaster Castle – Sat 23rd Jul 2011 – Alert

Called out by North West Ambulance service to assist their crew with an injured tourist who had stumbled at Muncaster castle and sustained a head injury. Whilst the team leader was gathering details a further call came in to advise that assistance was no longer required and the team was stood down.

Muncaster Castle – Wed 9th Sep 2009 – Callout 68 in 2009

Called by Ambulance Control to assist with the rescue of a lady who had an injured ankle near Muncaster Castle, Ravenglass.
