Call from Workington Police requesting rescue of a 45 yr old man who had collapsed near Scarlathing, Upper Eskdale. He was suffering from a medical/viral condition and had been lapsing in and out of consciousness. When the ‘999’ call came through to the police, an RAF rescue helicopter had been requested.
