Registered Charity No 1170178 (CIO)
The Team relies almost totally on donations received from the public.
Charitable gifts are always gratefully received. As well as needing money to replace ageing equipment and vehicles we require funds for more mundane costs such as utilities, fuel and maintenance.
You can support us by donating, buying through our shop or joining our Supporters’ Club.
The easiest way to donate is online at JustGiving.
Thank you for your support, the Team would not be able to function without it!

50th Anniversary Book
A book has been pulled together to celebrate the first 50 years of Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team (WMRT). All funds raised from the sales of the publication will be used to fund the future operation of the team.
Fifty years is a long time and this publication would not have been possible without the contributions of many people to tell the story of the team. The book describes the early years and the development of the team from the Wyndham Search Team right through to the present day. There are member recollections, notable callouts, descriptions of our accident blackspots as well as some vivid pictures to tell the tale. The book is in full colour A5 format with 256 pages packed with material gleaned over the years.
It is being sold online using PayPal at the very modest price of £10 plus P&P (please note that we can only deal with orders of single books at the moment).
