On 23rd July WMRT were involved in giving a presentation to nearly fifty 16yr olds from all over the country, keen to study medicine. This was part of a summer school for those from a widening participation background. It was organised by Sunderland and UCLAN universities and funded by the medical school’s council. Three team members gave an interesting MRT case study to an enthusiastic and engaged group. We all felt it was a privilege to be involved and the whole event was very positive. We’re looking forward to next year.
