Cumbria Police received a call about a female walker who had aggravated an old ankle injury. The team leader spoke with the group, who were able to descend to meet team members. She was then assisted off the hill and back to the campsite, and advised to attend hospital to have the injury checked over.
Incident started at 14:49 and ended at 19:29 making 4.7 hrs in total. There were 7 Wasdale team members involved and the incident occured at NY 20087 06846. Total rescuer hours: 33
