The Wasdale team was called to rescue a lady climber who had fallen off Eagles Nest Ridge, Great Gable and suffered head injuries. A helicopter in the area was called to assist and following an aerial search of the craggs found no casualty. The lady had made her way down to the valley bottom with a climbing partner and was attended to by the team doctors before being taken to West Cumberland Hospital.
