NWAS reported that a mountain biker had come off his bike and dislocated his shoulder, requesting assistance. The team began investigating, but NWAS confirmed the casualty had moved to the carpark and therefore MRT attendance was not required. The team was stood down and not deployed to the scene.

Team contacted regarding reports of a missing mountain biker on Scafell Pike. During the investigation and planning he turned up safe and well. Thanks to Cumbria Police for their assistance.
The team was called to attend a fallen mountain biker on the path from Wasdale Head to Burnmoor Tarn. The North West Air Ambulance also attended and the team gave casualty care before stretchering the casualty a short distance to a waiting road ambulance.
Whilst the team were preparing to undergo helicopter training at Wasdale Head, a mountain bike cyclist pulled up and asked where the nearest telephone was.
