The team was alerted by Cumbria Police about two walkers who had become disoriented and needed assistance. The Team Leader was able to get an accurate location via PhoneFind and give directions to the valley floor, after which they were able to navigate themselves off the fell.

We were called by the police about an overdue walker. He had split up from his partner whilst on Great Gable and not returned. Within a very few minutes (6!) we got a call to say he had turned up safe and well.
