Call from Workington Police regarding an incident on Brantrake Crag, Eskdale. A 29 year old male climber had fallen on Central crack, Linbeck. This climb is HVS with a 5a start and he had fallen off before he could place his first protection, landing badly and fracturing his left ankle. Around 14 team members carried him off the fell to the ambulance where he was taken to West Cumberland Hospital for treatment.
