Police paged the team to search for a missing 60yr old male walker from Wirral in Cheshire who was up on holiday and failed to return to his accommodation. He was walking in the area between Seatallan and Middle Fell. 12 Wasdale MRT plus 4 SARDA search dogs were involved in the search – he was eventually found on the fell between Blengdale and Guards Head at 2:05 hrs He was able to walk off the fell. Incident closed at 4:00 hrs
Incident started at 23:00 and ended at 04:00 making 5 hrs in total. There were 12 Wasdale team members involved and the incident occured at NY1064 0676 (altitude 281 m). Total rescuer hours: 60
