Upper Eskdale – Tue 6th Jan 2015

The team was called out to assist two walkers who had walked off the wrong side of Scafell Pike into upper Eskdale. They were quickly located below Horn Crag and walked back to our vehicles in the Eskdale Valley before being driven back to Wasdale.

Scafell Pike – Sat 16th Aug 2014

The team was called by a pair of walkers lost near the summit of Scafell Pike. Their location was determined using SARLOC and a team member already on the hill went to their aid. Whilst descending another group of six who were struggling were also walked down to Wasdale Head.

The team was contacted by a group of three lost on the Beck Head – Great Gable path whilst heading for Borrowdale. They were given directions over the phone and a team member met them at Wasdale Head to confirm they were down safely.
