The team leader was alerted by the police of two people lost in a sudden snow squall when descending Scafell Pike. After eventually speaking to one of the couple the weather had cleared and they were instructed to stay on the footpath back to Brackenclose.

Ennerdale – Mon 19th Oct 2020

The team were called by police for a couple who reported themselves lost having come down from Scafell Pike the wrong way. They had intended to go to Seathwaite, Borrowdale. Eastings and Northings from the 999 call put them in Ennerdale so the incident was transferred to Cockermouth team.

Kirkfell – Sat 3rd Oct 2020
