The following day the areas were extended and searched by a number of Lake District MR teams.
Wasdale team were tasked to search two areas close to to Turner Hall Farm in Dunnerdale.
Shortly after completing the first area, the good news was received that the missing person had been located in the Langdale valley, and the team were stood down.
Thanks to Duddon and Furness Mountain Rescue Team for the pies that were gratefully consumed back at their base.
Incident started at 10:00 and ended at 15:00 making 5 hrs in total. There were 7 Wasdale team members involved and the incident occured at SD 232 965. Total rescuer hours: 35
