The team was called by North West Ambulance Service regarding a cyclist who had come off his bike while descending Hardknott Pass, reportedly sustaining head injuries. A local team member was deployed quickly to assess. The cyclist was found standing and in a location accessible to ambulance services. As such the team was stood down as no further assistance was needed. We hope the cyclist has recovered quickly.
