Cumbria Police contacted Wasdale MRT regarding a female who had injured her knees and was unable to continue her descent from Hollowstones. A full team response was deployed. The casualty was assessed on scene, stabilised, and then stretchered down the hill.
She was handed over to her friends for onward transport home.
Incident started at 18:17 and ended at 23:05 making 4.8 hrs in total. There were 10 Wasdale team members involved and the incident occured at NY 19947 07524. Total rescuer hours: 48
