A call was received from Cumbria Police regarding a male walker with head and leg injuries near Lingmell Col. The team was deployed quickly, however located the casualty much lower down than expected. Thankfully his injuries were superficial, caused by being blown over in strong wind. The walker descended unaided and was advised to seek hospital evaluation.
Incident started at 17:40 and ended at 20:07 making 2.5 hrs in total. There were 19 Wasdale team members involved and the incident occured at NY 21179 07645. Total rescuer hours: 48
