The Team Leader was called yesterday by Keswick MRT for some help as they were handling multiple callouts and were slightly short on numbers for stretcher carry from Sty Head. A party of five volunteered to help and were heading down the valley when a further call confirmed that they now had things covered, and that we were able to stand down, leaving us with more resources for potential callouts on our own ‘patch’.
Incident started at 13:32 and ended at 14:18 making 0.8 hrs in total. There were 7 Wasdale team members involved and the incident occured at NY 219095. Total rescuer hours: 6
