Sty Head – Tue 17th Oct 2017 – Alert

The team alerted this morning after a group of walkers found a lone male exhausted by Sty Head stretcher box. Due to the location we passed this over to our Keswick colleagues who with assistance from Cockermouth brought him off the hill.

The team was contacted after a family had reported themselves lost, with their last known position being the Styhead stretcher box. Sty Head – Sat 4th Jun 2016 – Callout 24 in 2016

The team was called out to assist a male who had an epileptic fit near to the corridor route. Ourselves and the Great North Air Ambulance attended. The male was treated and evacuated by the air ambulance.

The team was called out to assist Keswick MRT walk a pair of walkers that they had helped off the Corridor Route down to Wasdale Head.

Sty Head – Sat 21st Mar 2015 – Callout 9 in 2015

We were contacted by a couple who had become lost on Scafell Pike, it become apparent early on that we would need to look for the pair. As we were turning out one of our probationary team members, already out on the hill, found the pair and walked them to their car.
