The team was involved on a major search for missing male in his 80’s with a medical issue. He had been missing since 1530 at Muncaster Castle. He turned up safe and well at Windermere train station later in the evening. We thank lake district SARDA search dogs, Civil Nuclear Police, Cumbria Police for their assistance.
Incident started at 17:56 and ended at 21:00 making 3.1 hrs in total. There were 15 Wasdale team members involved and the incident occured at SD 10304 96464 (altitude 55 m). Total rescuer hours: 47
