During incident 30 on Broad Stand, a further call was received from Cumbria Police. A well-equipped walker high on Scafell Pike was suffering from severe and painful cramping in his leg.
The Team Leader diverted some team members to the scene to assess and help. Happily the walker had recovered somewhat and was determined to make a slow walk down under his own steam. This continued without event to Brackenclose. We hope he recovered quickly.
Incident started at 16:12 and ended at 19:36 making 3.4 hrs in total. There were 23 Wasdale team members involved and the incident occured at NY 212074. Total rescuer hours: 78
