Cumbria Police requested team assistance after a 30kg dog refused to move on the Wastwater Screes. The Team Leader deployed a boat team and they successfully rescued the dog along with two walkers. All were safely returned to the landing area and continued their walk back to their campsite.
Incident started at 18:03 and ended at 21:25 making 3.4 hrs in total. There were 10 Wasdale team members involved and the incident occured at NY 154047. Total rescuer hours: 34
