The team were called about a walker who had sustained a knee injury on the descent from Scafell Pike.
The team deployed, with assistance from the Duddon and Furness team (again!), treated the injury and stretchered the walker back down the hill. The family then took him to hospital. Thank you to Duddon and Furness team for your help. We wish the walker a quick recovery.
Incident started at 14:19 and ended at 20:48 making 6.5 hrs in total. There were 15 Wasdale team members involved and the incident occured at NY210076. Total rescuer hours: 98
