Team called this afternoon for a walker with a painful leg injury who could no longer walk. The incident occurred near the top of Scafell Pike and given the long carry the Duddon and Furness Mountain Rescue Team also joined the rescue along with a member of the Penrith team who was in the area. Many thanks to Duddon once again for turning out.
Incident started at 16:45 and ended at 22:00 making 5.3 hrs in total. Incident occured at NY 2115 0740 (altitude 894 m).
