We were alerted by Cumbria Police after a Personal Locator Beacon was triggered at the falls in the upper Esk valley. The team was called out to investigate and stood down en-route when it was determined that it was a false alarm, and all was well with the group.
Incident started at 15:28 and ended at 16:50 making 1.4 hrs in total. There were 13 Wasdale team members involved and the incident occured at NY226038. Total rescuer hours: 18
