We were called a third time by Police about another, unrelated party on the Wasdale Screes who reported they were exhausted and struggling to make progress. They were advised to take a short rest, eat some food and then continue and they finally made their own way back to their car.
Incident started at 21:00.
We were called again by police about a party of 4 struggling to make progress on Wasdale Screes and asking for advice about what to do. They were advised to help each other and stay fairly close to the lake shore. We presume they are now safe & well after a search of the Screes path showed no one was stuck but they have not phoned in to report their status.
