Wastwater – Sun 27th Jan 2013

Whitehaven – Fri 25th Jan 2013

The team was called by North West Ambulance Service to assist them at West Cumberland Hospital due to heavy snow.The team mobilised two Landrovers and transferred patients to and from the hospital. Crinkle Crags – Sun 20th Jan 2013

The team was called out to assist Langdale Ambleside MRT and Duddon and Furness MRT search for a walker missing after walking on Crinkle Crags. Whilst we were travelling from the Scafell Pike job the missing man was found by Duddon and Furness having walked out to Eskdale.

Scafell Pike – Sun 20th Jan 2013

The team was called out to attend a walker who had fallen and sustained a head injury. He was on the main Scafell Pike path and by the time we arrived was suffering from hypothermia. We gave casualty care and stretchered him down to an ambulance at Brackenclose.

Greendale, Wasdale – Sun 13th Jan 2013

The team was called out to attend a woman with an injured ankle above Greendale Farm. Her leg was splinted and analgesia was given before the team stretchered her down to an ambulance. 19 team members involved.

The team was contacted about a tent that appeared abandoned. Since nobody had been reported overdue no action was taken.
