A call from Cumbria Police was received regarding an overdue walker from a walk up Pillar. The walker was last known to be at the summit, and had not returned to his vehicle when expected.
Due to the possibility of a descent into Ennerdale, Cockermouth MRT were alerted, however shortly afterwards the good news was received that he had turned up safe and well in Wasdale.
Incident started at 18:02 and ended at 18:49 making 0.8 hrs in total. There were 2 Wasdale team members involved. Total rescuer hours: 1.6
