Cumbria Police contacted Wasdale MRT regarding a female who had fallen on the path between Lingmell Col and the summit of Scafell Pike, with a suspected broken ankle. The first vehicle was deployed, and Helimed 58 (Great North Air Ambulance) was requested to attend. Due to terrain, H58 was unable to land directly at the scene and instead landed nearby before walking up to the casualty.
H58 uplifted team members to assist with the carry to the aircraft, after which the casualty was flown to hospital for further treatment.

Incident started at 13:01 and ended at 17:07 making 4.1 hrs in total. There were 14 Wasdale team members involved and the incident occured at NY 21171 07544. Total rescuer hours: 57
