Whilst we were walking off from the previous job we were called again by Police about 2 walkers who had split off from a larger group and become lost, somewhere on Scafell Pike. One also reported they had hurt their leg and were struggling to walk. As we were dealing with the earlier incident the Team Leader from Cockermouth Team helped to establish the position of the walkers as being on the Corridor Route. Some passing walkers then helped to direct the lost pair to Sty Head Tarn from where they walked back into Wasdale and were met by team members on the upper path.
Incident started at 15:56 and ended at 19:11 making 3.3 hrs in total. There were 9 Wasdale team members involved. Total rescuer hours: 30
