We were contacted regarding a overdue person, last seen entering Piers Gill. As we were gathering details the male turned up safe and well.

The team was contacted by the police about a walker stuck somewhere near Piers Gill. By the time the team leader made contact they were no longer stuck and did not require any further assistance.
The police contacted the team to assist a pair of walkers who had found themselves lost on steep ground in poor visibility whilst descending Scafell Pike.
