Rockfall nr Mickledore Gully

There has been a small rockfall to the side of the gully approaching Mickledore from the Woolworth Boulder and Hollowstones. The rockfall is just off the usual line of ascent but the debris is unstable and caution is recommended.

Training Over The River Esk – Monday 4th July 2011

Last Monday the team practised evacuating a casualty from a gorge or gully using a cableway. This involves setting up a rope system to manoeuvre a stretcher from one side to the other whilst also being able to raise and lower the stretcher.
