On 6 February 2021, during a rescue, Chris Lewis, a member of one of our fellow teams (Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team) was very seriously injured following a 150 metre fall. His injuries are life-changing and a fund was set up to provide the support he will need for the rest of his life.
