Call from the police for a pair of walkers stuck in mist on the summit of Scafell Pike. The pair were talked off the mountain. No further action required by the team and the incident was closed at 7.24 p.m. when they reported in said that they were now OK.

An informant at Wasdale National Trust campsite reported seeing flashing lights on the Scafells.
