The team were called about a walker who had not made contact with his family as expected. Extensive searches were conducted over 3 days in the Central Fells, plus Langdale, Eskdale, Mosedale, Borrowdale and Ennerdale. A call was received about a walker who had sustained an ankle injury whilst out walking. The team, together with Duddon and Furness members were deployed. The casualty was treated, stretchered off, and taken to hospital by ambulance. We wish the walker a quick recovery.
