The team were paged by the police to respond to a female who was crag fast in a quarry near Bigrigg, Egremont. Clints Quarry is an overgrown disused quarry with steep sides. The lady had been walking round the quarry when she fell down the bank but her fall was arrested by the trees. She was quickly made safe with ropes and brought safely up. 16 team members were involved and the incident was closed at 7.45 p.m.
Incident started at 18:21 and ended at 19:45 making 1.4 hrs in total. There were 16 Wasdale team members involved. Total rescuer hours: 22
