Blengdale – Tue 26th Oct 2004

The team were asked by the police to recover a body from the fell near Skalderskew Farm, Blengdale. The man in his late thirties collapsed and died. 12 team members attended and recovered the body to the roadside.

Mitredale – Sat 9th Oct 2004

The team were called to rescue an 18-year-old woman who suffered an ankle injury in Miterdale, in an area known as the Amphitheatre. The woman, who was taking part in activities as part of the Duke of Edinburgh scheme, was stretchered for two miles to the bottom of the fell. Read more…
