The team was called out to an incident on Hardknott Pass. We were stood quickly when it became apparent our help was no longer needed.

The team was on standyby for five Duke of Edinburgh’s Award walkers who were 4 hours overdue at their checkpoint at the top of Hardknott Pass. The group turned up an hour later.

The team was called out to assist a car stranded on Hardknott Pass. On arrival the car was empty; further enquires determined that the occupants were safe in the valley. We left the car in situ.
