Eskdale – Sat 21st Jan 2017
The team was tasked by Cumbria Police to search for a missing person. The team searched the area around Wha House Farm in Eskdale whilst Duddon and Furness MRT searched Cockley Beck and Hardknott Pass. Nothing was found and the team stood down.
Great End – Mon 9th Jan 2017

Whitehaven – Wed 4th Jan 2017
We were called by Police to assist with the search for a missing person in Whitehaven where we joined with colleagues from the Police, Whitehaven Coastguard Team and the S-92 Helicopter from Prestwick. Fortunately the missing person was found safe & well some distance away and we stood down.
Pillar – Wed 28th Dec 2016

Burnmoor Tarn – Sun 30th Oct 2016
We were called by Police about a lady who’d slipped on the bridge near Burnmoor Tarn and injured herself. Great North Air Ambulance also attended and was able to evacuate the casualty to a waiting land ambulance at Wasdale Head before we arrived on scene.
Hardknott Pass – Fri 28th Oct 2016
We were called by our colleagues in Langdale Team to help look for and then assist a driver reported to be in difficulty between Wrynose and Hardknott Pass. He was found on the Eskdale side of Hardknott Pass and assisted back into the valley.
Piers Gill, Scafell Pike – Wed 26th Oct 2016
The team was called out to help rescue a family group who’d become lost on Scafell Pike. They were located near to the top of Piers Gill then walked back to Wasdale by team members.
Corridor Route, Scafell Pike – Tue 25th Oct 2016
The team was called out to help a pair of walkers lost on the corridor route. They were located using their smartphone and walked down to Wasdale Head by team members.

Corridor Route, Scafell Pike – Wed 19th Oct 2016
We were called by Police about a walker reporting himself lost on Scafell Pike. With help from Sarloc he was located on the corridor route between Piers & Greta Gill. A small team was then sent to help escort him off the mountain.
Lingmell Col, Scafell Pike – Wed 12th Oct 2016
Team called for 2 walkers who were disorientated whilst on Scafell Pike. They were located around Lingmell Col with help from the compass feature on their iPhone and walked back to Wasdale.
